About Sue
Sue has always lived in London. She studied Fine Arts at the Byam Shaw School of Art and then worked for BBC Television doing animations then illustrations for Odhams Press.
In 1976 she attended Putney School of Art and studied Printmaking, etching and mixed media studies - and here she found the perfect way of recording the feeling of light, atmosphere and texture through the process of etching.
By 1980, Sue renewed her study of Watercolour. It suited her as it was a medium that, used with delicacy and sensitivity, could show slight nuances in the ever changing light, shadow and atmosphere seen in Nature and the varied effects on the most ordinary everyday objects.
